Simple truths you must believe to get saved:
-
You are a sinner
The Bible teaches that we are all sinners. Sin is anything we do that is outside the will of God. Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
-
Because of sin you cannot go to Heaven
The Bible teaches that Heaven is for perfect people, while the place for sinners is hell Psalms 24:3-4 “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully:” Revelations 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
-
Jesus paid for your sins on the cross
The Bible teaches that Jesus paid with His blood the price of our sins on the cross. Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

So how do you receive the gift of eternal life?
Repent of your sin and trust in what Jesus did on the cross to save you, not your good works. Bring it to God in prayer. You can pray something similar to this: (Remember it is your faith in what Jesus did on the cross that saves, not the prayer)
«Dear God, I am sorry for being a sinner. Thank you because today I understood that I am a sinner condemned to hell. Today I believe that Jesus is God, who died, buried and resurrected so His blood can wash away my sins. I only trust in the Blood alone to save me, Not my good works. Thank you for saving me, in Jesus name I pray. Amen »
Last note: Remember that Salvation is a gift that is not dependant on your good work. Our God is a God that keeps His promises, therefore you cannot lose your Salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28-29, 1 John 5:13, Ephesians 1:13
